Learning to Master the Things that Matter

What is RSS and “Subscribe” all about?

RSS stands for “really simple syndication.”  It is useful in following a number of blogs without having to actually visit the websites.  You can set up an RSS folder in your email program and it will go and get all the new entries from blogs for you just like getting your email.  Then you can read the entries as though they were emails.  If you click the ones you want to know more about it will take you to the page directly.

You can also set up RSS links using your browser like Internet Explorer or Mozilla.  After you set up an RSS bookmark it will do the same thing, go and get the new entries for you.  This method allows you to follow a number of blogs about things that interest you in much less time.

Once you have these things set up one time all you have to do is to click the RSS symbol or the Subscribe button on any website you visit and that new content will be added to your daily RSS collection by either your email program or your Internet browser.

If you need more information on RSS just click this link.

You can subscribe to my leadership teaching videos on I-Tunes by installing I-Tunes on your computer for free from this link.  Then come back to this page and click this link for the videos or click here if you want my audio only podcast which has sermons, Bible studies, and musings on church/family/work.  To get either one click the links provided and the program will automatically load itself into your I-Tunes every time we make a new one.  Subscribing is free and keeps you from having to go looking for content.  It will all come to you.  The wonder of the new digital publishing world!  Enjoy it!
