Learning to Master the Things that Matter

Coffee

P1000006As a child my Mom, God bless ya, used to make me coffee before school. It was mostly milk and sugar but it had a little coffee to it to give it a bit of taste. That was special. Thanks Mom. I never drank coffee much, though Sherry learned to love it, in my adulthood until Starbucks came to Manila and I started on caramel macchiatos. Then we visited Europe and i got to taste real coffee from Italian expresso presses and coffee became special.

I drink a little drip coffee, but i really love it when i am out and about at the end of a busy day and can find a little open air cafe to have a latte. I drink slowly and breathe slowly as well, trying to be alive and not just busy. Its sort of a devotional experience. :-)
