Well, the meeting had its good and bad points.  The people were nice, honest and transparent with us.   They shared a lot of helpful information and they have many relationships that could be helpful to us.  That’s the good side.On the other hand, the meeting revealed that they didn’t actually own the FM station they use. Just lease it and their lease amount is high and will balloon even higher in the near future so it’s back to praying for a breakthrough.  We will attempt a meet with another station owner this week.  Keep praying us up please.  I feel like we should be on in Manila somehow by January.  It will take the Lord, but He is able. 

Today i go to meet with a group that owns a Metro Manila FM station.  There are only 25 and they are all taken. We have tried at other times to get one, but it has always been frustrated at some point. This time feels differently.   Please pray for us this week as we negotiate with these owners to either lease or buy their station so that Manila’s 13 million people (average age 21) can have a Christian music FM station to feed their souls.

Well this week Sherry and I cashed in some miles and some coupons and flew to a little village in Greece (think captain corelli’s mandolin) to celebrate our 25 & 26 anniversaries.  People here are still raising sheep and olives.  Very few computers.  Just stone houses and a deep quiet–and wouldn’t you know it–Tom Hanks, Pearce Brosnan and Meryl Streep filming Momma Mia!.  We went to the set on a remote beach yesterday and will return today to watch filming.  Those guys can really find the great places.  Hope this place doesn’t become famous now.  It’s relatively cheap ($60 a night for new apartments with amazing views).  Its the perfect romantic place for us to celebrate the good life God has given us as we have wondered God’s good earth.
